Ease of Use:  

Any Capture is very easy to use. Most people will adapt quickly to it, as it's design is similar to PC Paint—offering a workspace equipped with a toolbar and canvas. There are also multiple ways to capture screenshots with this product, including icons, shortcuts and hotkeys.

Feature Set:  

Any Capture allows you to place an icon on the bottom toolbar, which, when selected, allows you to right click on an image and then select the type of screen shot you want.

An image viewer is also available, which tells you exactly what pixel you start and end with while capturing an image. In addition, when you're selecting a capture region, the selection automatically changes colors so you can easily tell what you're capturing. However, this program does not offer an FTP tool or the ability to set a screenshot as your wallpaper or to import images from a digital camera or scanner.

Ease of Installation:  

We experienced no problems while installing Any Capture.

Help/Support:  

Any Capture offers support in the form of a basic manual, which contains an FAQ section, and an email support address. But, this product does not proved tutorials, knowledge bases or user forums and since its support is based out of China, there's no telephone support.

Capture:  

With Any Capture, you can capture desktops, active windows, controls, menus, single windows, Direct X Applications and more. The programs scrolling capture also gives you the ability to capture entire documents and websites that you'd normally have to scroll down to totally view them.

A few of this product's limitations include the inability to capture individual images, text, video clips, media players or objects. You also can't capture from multiple monitors with Any Capture.

Edit:  

Any Capture offers limited editing tools with no special effects to speak of and no way to insert comments into your screenshots.

However, it does offer special coloring effects (i.e. mosaic, sharpen and so on), basic editing tools and a color pick, which tells you the RGB values of any color that you hover your cursor over.

While Any Capture is a little cheaper then some higher-ranked products, it is certainly not as powerful or as well supported too. We suggest spending a little extra money for one of our higher-ranked programs and getting a lot more.
